What next?
My first post is up. what will happen next?
Hello anyone who may be reading! A few days ago, after wanting to be a writer all my life, I uploaded two pieces of flash fiction onto Substack, unsure of what would happen there.
Despite, doing no advertising for them whatsoever they have so far received 8 reads which may seem small to you, but for me is a fantastic start on this website that I only heard about very recently. Apart from an embarrassing, spelling error I made in the second piece I’m very happy with the stories and glad that they’re floating around on the interweb.
While, flash fiction is something that I’m happy to do again I hope that the bulk of what I upload on here will be full-length short stories of idea driven Science Fiction that I hope will fascinate any readers as well as entertain them. I don’t want to get ahead of myself and I know that my writing is very far from perfect and that many of these stories will not come out as I intended them to. I want my here to be a place where I can work on my faults and get better at doing what I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid. If anyone does read the stories I upload, I encourage them to contact me with helpful notes and constructive criticism. I will also use this space to post reviews and explanations of novels and stories that I’m enthusiastic about.
